This course provides an introduction to the exciting new field of data science, business intelligence and business analytics. Analytics professionals generate and analyse data from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to make critical decisions for growth, improving quality and creating better products and services. This course makes extensive use of SAP software to provide real-world experiences.

During your study, you’ll develop practical, up-to-date knowledge of SAP software. We offer hands-on experience and online access to a comprehensive suite of SAP Business Intelligence/Business Analytics (BI/BA) software applications and technology.

VU offers one of the most comprehensive ERP and business analytics programs in the world. Through our masters program, you’ll develop in-demand computing and business skills needed to implement and maintain ERP systems. More importantly, you’ll understand how these systems affect and support business.

* Flexible teaching timetable based on consecutive six (6) week teaching periods. Full-time students typically take 2 units, and part-time students typically take 1 unit, per teaching period. This enables part-time students to progress at the pace they desire, and full-time students to complete the course quickly.

Credit Exemption

Students who enter with an approved degree in a cognate discipline, may receive Credit Exemption for the four (4) Non-Cognate units listed above, and are required to complete the remaining twelve (12) units (144 credit points), listed above, to be eligible for the award.

Entry requirements

English language requirements

You must provide evidence that you have completed an approved English language test, and achieved the result as described below.

Recognition of prior English language studies

If you have completed a qualification where English was the primary language of instruction, you may be eligible for an English language exemption. Your eligibility will be assessed when we receive your complete application.

Academic requirements

Successful completion of an approved degree equivalent to an Australian undergraduate (bachelor) degree.
